Common Table is proud to host a hot dinner each night of the week at 6pm at the Lincoln Education Center (901 Poyntz). Breakfasts are also served at several locations throughout the week. Doors open at 5:30 pm. At the Lincoln Center, meal attendees must enter through Door 6 and go to the south side of the building. Then go to the courtyeard area at the west end of the building. Look for the Common Table sign in the window next to Door 6. There are no questions asked. Just arrive and you will be greeted.

Description:
The FUMC Food Pantry partners with the Flint Hills Breadbasket and is a ministry that provides food for families in the Manhattan area including Manhattan, St. George, Ogden, Riley and Leonardville. Food pantry open Wednesdays from 9:30 am - 11:30 am. Located in the same building as Shepherd's Crossing. The FUMC pantry provides individuals and families with basic food for a week. Beneficiaries receive a variety of food staples with quantities based upon family size. No referral is necessary from the Flint Hills Breadbasket.

Harvesters mobilizes the power of our community to create equitable access to nutritious food and address the root causes and impact of hunger. Harvesters provides food and related household products to more than 900 nonprofit agencies including emergency food pantries, community kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes and others. We also offer education programs to increase community awareness of hunger and teach about good nutrition.

Description:
Konza Student Table helps fight food insecurity among K-State students by providing a free, tasty and nutritious meal every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. This effort is a partnership that involves multiple community organizations. Donations to Konza Student Table are accepted through St. Isidore’s Catholic Student Center. Volunteers help pack meal boxes each week on Wednesday afternoons at Kramer Dining Center, and another group of volunteers helps distribute the boxes later that day in the parking lot next to St. Isidore’s at 711 Denison Ave.
