This is one of the oldest women’s club in Manhattan, KS. Originally founded in 1876, it helped to initiate the Domestic Science classes at Kansas State University. Historical yearbooks, articles and minutes of the club can be found at the Riley County Historical Museum. The objective of the club is to share the intellectual and social culture of domestic science and community interests. It meets monthly during the school year at various locations with programs and refreshments. The club donates books to the Manhattan Public Library in memory of deceased members and provides scholarships to worthy Kansas State University students in the College of Health and Human Services.
